Seven Sins

Everyone has heard of the seven deadly sins envy, gluttony, greed or avarice, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. The cardinal sins of humanity handed down to us in cautionary tales from ancient days. Through religious texts, folk tales, and accredited novels we’ve learned that these traits almost always lead to destruction. 

The Movement

It seems like in the past decade the connotation of these traits has flipped. Former sins like greed and pride have become the values of the world’s business owners and leaders, a shift that has taken place over centuries. One cynical view could attribute this change to the capitalist movement, but I don’t believe such a change can be credited to such a singular factor.

The Book

The 21st Century Virtues lookbook explores the idea of these traits becoming characters and the results of interactions between them. There are seven chapters each focusing on a different sin. The book includes gifs and photos to create a dynamic story that leaves interpretation to the viewer.
